The 15th Berlinale Talent Camp has invited an Iranian director of photography as the first person from Iran to attend the major festival.
Iranian director of photography, Mohammad Haddadi, has been invited as the first Iranian to attend the Berlinale Talent Camp, which will be held on the sidelines of the 67th Berlinale International Film Festival from February 9-17, 2017.
Berlinale Talents will be held on February 11-16, 2017, and is the annual summit and networking platform of the Berlinale festival for 250 outstanding creativities from the fields of film and drama series.
This year’s finalists have been selected from 2,711 individuals from 127 countries.
Mohammad Haddadi took home the Best Photography Award for the film 'Starless Dreams', directed by Mehrdad Oskouei, from the 13th International Documentary Film Festival CRONOGRAF of Moldova, 2016.
Berlinale Talents offers an extensive summit program of master classes and panel discussions with top-notch experts, as well as a range of Project Labs for further developing and presenting one's own project.
Studio program and workshops for specific groups of film professionals are also offered at the festival.
The Berlin International Film Festival is closely linked with the program of the festival sections and the European Film Market.
